Quite accidentally, I stumbled into news (on Amazon, of course) that Thomas Pynchon had written a new novel, Against the Day. I've arranged to receive a copy this holiday season, and I'm anxiously looking forward to reading it over the next year or two. I'll let you know what I think as I go along...
